If you are working on a smaller screen or just want to view the grid you can easily switch to 'focus mode' but selecting the expand icon on the far right of the grid toolbar.

This will display the grid full screen and enable you to clearly see all the data. This is similar to excel however it is simpler to switch between normal and focus mode just click the same icon again to minimise the grid.
