In The Edge Platform we have embedded the core action steps that are relevant to each process. At each step of the Guided Process you will find key fields that are relevant to that step, along with support material that helps you along the way.
As you progress through the stages of the guided process the key fields will change to reflect what is relevant to that stage. These fields can be edited directly in the guided process.
This will let both you and other staff members know where the item is at and what needs to be done to move the item to the next stage.
An example: Action Guided Process.
The first stage of the Action guided process is Review Plan.
To view the details of the guided process and key fields that need to be updated within this stage click on the arrow.
The details will be now be displayed. You can hide these at any time.
To move to the next stage click 'Mark Status as Complete'. You'll see that the previous stage is marked with a green tick and the guided process will be updated to display the steps for the next stage.
NOTE: It is best practice to follow the stages of the Guided process in a linear fashion to assist other in tracking the progress of an item. On some occasions it may be useful to skip steps not relevant to a specific item, however this should not be common practice.
