To action an achieving item follow the guided process. As you progress through the stages click 'Mark as Current Stage' to review items such checklist items and issues.
Following Guided Process
The first step in the guided process is 'Review Plan'. To do so click on the link to the Plan in the compact layout at the top of the record page.
The next step is to 'Review Checklist'. Here you can Create a New Checklist Item (at the top right action toolbar of the record page) or check off your checklist items under 'Related Checklist Items' TAB.
The next step is to 'Review Issues'. Here you can 'Create New Issue' or resolve any outstanding issues related to this item under 'Related Issues' TAB.
Then you can review the status of the action, update any key fields and then mark the achieving item as 'Complete'.
Editing Action Item
To edit the detail of the action item click on the 'Edit Action Item' at the bottom right of the page.
The fields will then become editable and you can make changes eg. Finish Date (Actual) was later than the Finish Data (Expected).
Once your changes have been made click 'SAVE'.
The details will now be updated to reflect the change/s made.
Handover Process
When creating action items, you may delegate these to other staff members to complete. Ensure that you provide any additional information that will enable them to action the item accordingly. This can be done via chatter on the action record.
